Ichihiro was founded in 1971 in Ehime Prefecture’s Imabari City with just 6 weaving machines. The company paved a foundation both domestically and overseas in the 1990’s with the establishment of a sales center in Tokyo and a factory in Dalian, China.
Ichihiro now boasts the largest share in the industry as it has skillfully adapted to changes over the times by developing technologies in addition to its products, entering the OEM and other markets, and by assertively challenging itself to continually grow.
